Rotational Molding Services
Rotational molding, also referred to as rotomolding or rotocast, is a thermoplastic process for creating low stress, hollow parts by placing powder resin into a hollow mold. The mold spins on bi-axis machine in an oven until the powder resin melts and coats the inner wall. The mold is then cooled and the part is removed. This procedure can be used to produce parts in various sizes, shapes, and complexity. It is ideal for plastic parts with low to medium run quantities due to the relatively low tooling costs.
